How to add the Server

  • If you need to download and install Minecraft, you can get it here

  • To connect to the MTMC minecraft server, you must first be whitelisted for access. If you are not sure if you are whitelisted, please contact the administrator

  • Open the latest version of Minecraft (currently 1.14.4)

  • Click the "Multiplayer" button

  • Click the "Add Server" button

  • In the "server name:" text box, enter "MTMC Vanilla Server"

  • In the "Server address:" text box, enter "mountain-computers.com:25601"

  • Click the "Add Server" button

How to Connect to the Server

  • Navigate to the "Play Multiplayer" menu

  • Select "MTMC Server"

  • Click the "Join Server" button

Changes from Vanilla Minecraft

  • Killing the ender dragon will drop an elytra

  • Only one person will need to sleep to pass the night

  • Get 4 bark blocks when crafting bark blocks

  • Get 12 wooden trapdoors when crafting wooden trapdoors

  • When hitting tab, players who have been AFK's names will indicate that they are AFK

  • Kelp will not grow past age 25

  • Endermen will not pick up blocks

  • 2x2 flint can be used to make gravel at a crafting table

  • Shulkers will drop 2 shulker shells

  • Crafting brick blocks will give you 4 brick blocks

  • You will receive 8 stairs when crafting stairs

  • You will receive 6 slabs when crafting slabs

  • Cooking rotten flesh can be used to make leather

  • Ice types can be de-compacted

  • You can dye any dye-able block, even if it has already been dyed

  • Glass and terracotta can be de-dyed by crafting an O design
